The problem
The first site looked expensive but sold badly. Car pages buried the price and the contact button, the stock filters were generic, and the dealer needed a laptop to list a car.
Most buyers arrive from a WhatsApp link or an Instagram post, on mobile data, with a budget in naira already in their head.
What we built
- Every car page leads with the salePhoto first, then the naira price and a WhatsApp button that opens a chat with the car already named.
- Shop by budgetNaira bands (under ₦10m, ₦10m–₦20m and up) built from the real stock, each with a live count of cars.
- List a car from a phonePick photos and each uploads on its own; the price box understands "14.2m". Mark a car For sale, On hold or Sold in one tap.
- Links that sell on WhatsAppPaste a car's link into a chat and it shows that car's photo, name and price.
- Light on dataThe car page dropped from 1.2 MB to 416 KB, so it opens quickly on a weak connection.
